Academy and Skills Center was founded in September 2008 and partnered in January
2009 with Blue Ridge International Academy which was founded in 2006 on the
belief that all students, regardless of age, ability, location, gender, and
background should have access to a rigorous and personalized education program.
Based in Arlington, Virginia, Blue Ridge serves students across the country with
its unique capacity to provide online learning, qualified teachers, as well as
on-site teachers and facilitators.
Black Belt through arrangement with Blue Ridge International Academy provides
web-based programs built on the Educational Options, Inc. Stars Suite™ of
web-based products, which meet the content, assessment, and remediation needs of
a broad array of middle school, high school, GED, and adult learners and the
schools that support them.
By removing the barriers of the traditional “brick and mortar” school through innovative technology, Black Belt Training Academy seeks to ensure that every student has the opportunity to earn a high school diploma.
